At the beginning of the project we put a call out for a group of trainees to help us create and deliver the film and website

Our volunteer trainees aged from 16-75 have learnt:

  • Film-making – camera, sound and editing
  • Research – local newspaper, photograph and agricultural archives and sourcing. Identifying potential interviewees.
  • Oral history interviewing – engagement and technical skills for recording successful stories.
  • Management of the website and social media updates – keeping the website current, inspiring and encouraging interactions from the community. Feeding content into Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc

See what our trainees have been up to so far

We are still open to volunteers who may want to get involved with our outreach programme where we will be touring the film and online archive around the county.
