There was quite a buzz in the foyer of the Courtyard Arts Centre after the first screening of Chewing the Cud and whilst we enjoyed our canteen-style refreshments, there was a chance to talk to more visitors with memories of the old livestock market. One such was David Price, livestock farmer from just outside Hereford, at Dinedor, who visited the market with his farmer from an early age. I twisted his arm to allow me to record him talking and here it is – many thanks, David – I’m sure many can remember a Vimto in the Dean Leigh tearoom, but it is lovely to hear you tell of your childhood in the market.
